simple. you register with your e-mail address. anytime you like you may send messages out to the world. your messages will be delivered to random people. however, they will receive your message as an ordinary e-mail message with your e-mail address in the 'sender' field. if they reply to your message, it will go directly to your mailbox that you gave us at registration. stranger is a random user at mailastranger.org. yes. if someone sends a message and your registration is picked by the randomizer then you get to be that 'stranger'. you don't have a separate mailbox here. if you receive a message from a stranger or you have a reply to your message then it will be delivered to your original mailbox.
